Two hours of hand-building — no wheel, just clay, your hands, and a mug to take home. Messy in the best way.

What to expect

We start with a pinch and a coil and build up from there. You’ll make something real and useable; we’ll glaze and fire it for you to collect later.

What you’ll make

• A hand-built cup or small bowl, start to finish
• Glazing guidance so the colour is yours
• Firing and a pickup once it’s ready

The studio

A working ceramics studio in Kreuzberg, shelves full of other people’s half-finished things.

Your host

Selin runs the studio and teaches the way she wishes she’d been taught — slowly, with room to make a mess.
